Excellent cost effective pump for use with electric drill
This was an excellent buy to pump water out of a garden pond to refill with clean water. I tried it on a bucket of water first and it emptied it in seconds. I pumped out about a third of the water from my pond, about 800 litres in about 30 minutes. It easily coped with the grimy water and bits of dirt and leaf. Although the hose did clog when I let it sit on the pond bottom. It is really easy to use, just attach two bits of hose, lock the drill on and you are away. I screwed mine to a board so it could sit on that with the drill, but even so it only took half an hour to cut the board, screw it on, and set it near the pond ready to go. A really cheap option for cleaning a garden pond. The fish were swimming in clear water within minutes of refilling the pond.

I have not actually had chance to use this pump yet but have used similar pumps in the past.
Its important not to exceed the speed & keep your eye in the pumping to make sure it does not
start pumping air.

Purchased to pump water on an allotment. Pumps fine but not over too great a distance unless you have lots of time.

I found that this pump does exactly what it says on that advert. It is easy to use with a good out flow of water when pumping via the drill. It is self extracting with no need to prime with water first. Read the reviews of other customers prior to purchasing. It is an inexpensive item so don't think your are getting something that is all singing all dancing but you are getting a good reliable item that does exactly what it says on the tin.

great little pump
Bought this to pump out my pond filters and it worked a treat then tried it to pump out truck sump oil (drain plug faulty) and it was equally successful.
